Adults who desire a creative way to regulate signs and symptoms anxiety and depression,
ages 18 and up

This 6 week art therapy group will give you the tools and strategies you need to creatively manage anxiety in a supportive, non-judgemental environment.

In this group you can expect to:

  • Identify and manage triggers associated with anxiety
  • Learn mindfulness techniques
  • Develop emotion regulation skills
  • Practice new ways of coping
  • Experience a safe and supportive peer group
  • Enter in, stay in and learn to manage uncomfortable emotions and conversations

Anxiety is characterized by a variety of symptoms. One of the most common is excessive and intrusive worrying that disrupts daily functioning. Other signs include agitation, restlessness, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, irritability, tense muscles and trouble sleeping. Recurring panic attacks, fearing and avoiding social situations and phobias can also be associated with anxiety.

Regardless of which type of anxiety you may have, this art therapy group can equip you with the skills you need to better manage anxiety and teach you to regain control of your life.
