Has lived most of his life in the upstate South Carolina area. His interest in the helping arts developed during his undergraduate studies at Gardner-Webb University where he graduated in 2001. He continued his studies at Clemson University earning a Master’s in Counselor Education in 2002. He has worked in the mental health field for 17 years. Wes has worked with different populations and different age groups during this time. He has experience helping others with a wide range of issues. His main focus has been counseling persons with chronic mental illness and supporting them in their recovery from their mental illness.

Wes has a philosophy of treating the whole person and helping them to live up to their potential. He believes in looking at the Mental, Physical and Spiritual aspects of issues that one can have and treating issues from all three aspects.

Wes provides individual, couples, and family therapy utilizing Cognitive Behavioral therapy, and play therapy. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor supervisor candidate in SC

Wes is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Choice, SC Medicaid, Select Health, Molina, and United Healthcare.
